Lucas | Austin Senior Photographer
Iβve photographed this guy for over a decade now. Iβm always amazed by how fast time passes and then these moments when you thought theyβd be little forever are gone. I too now have a senior in high school and itβs all so unreal. Can someone please tell me where to find the βpauseβ button? I donβt just love my job because I get to have fun and be creativeβ¦ I also love it because I feel like Iβm able to press βpauseβ with each photo I take.
Austin Engagement Session at Butler Park | Patrick + Gaby
Letβs talk lighting. Itβs what I would call the βmain ingredientβ of photography. Without it you have no photo so itβs pretty dang important. When Iβm scheduling sessions the two opportune times of the day are within an hour of sunrise or within the last hour or two of sunset. Their are also strategies around middle of the day harsh light photography but thatβs not really my jam so I tend to avoid it. If itβs an overcast day, well you can pretty much shoot at any time and get great results. I love a good overcast day for a more moody vibe.
Patrick and Gaby absolutely killed it with their outfits and good energy. We started out at Red Bud Isle for some nature shots then headed to Butler park to catch that evening light on Austins forever changing skyline. I canβt wait for their bid day at Springdale Station next year!
